In 1 Kings 3, God told King Solomon he could ask for whatever he wanted. Solomon chose to ask for a wisdom to govern the Israelites. While Solomon messed up later in life, he was considered the wisest person on earth at that time. Here are a few nuggets of wisdom from Solomon.

Proverbs 11:2 - When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.

In the blink of an eye wealth disappears, for it will spout wings and fly away like an eagle.
